Fabricare has been family owned and operated since 1986 by Greek immigrants, John and Terry Dallas. John got his start pressing at a dry cleaner in Natick, MA without knowing a word of English. He worked his way up (while going to night school to learn English) to become the main spotter and ultimately store manager. When the opportunity to become a store owner in Norwell presented itself, he jumped at the chance without hesitation. 

He and Terry moved with their two daughters to Hingham and took pride in working their hardest to deliver the best product with a very personal touch. Over the years, it was important to them to become a part of the community that they served. Whether it was supporting local causes, law enforcement, sporting events and schools, or raising their family locally, they truly invested their lives in the energy of the south shore. 

Their gratitude for being able to do all of that has never waned. As you would expect from a “family business,” both of the Dallas’ daughters spent many years working with them at the store. Even though multiple extended family members became part of the team at Fabricare over the years, the term “family business” doesn’t only refer to blood relatives. Their culture of giving, caring, and helping has ensured that the Fabricare family is a strong and sincerely close-knit group. Now nearly four decades later, the Fabricare family thanks you for your loyalty and support.
